- OTHM is a UK based Awarding Organisation regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation).
- Ofqual is responsible for maintaining standards and confidence in qualifications. Ofqual looks after GCSEs and A levels in England, and a wide range of vocational qualifications in England. Ofqual also regulates the National Curriculum Assessments in England.
- OTHM main objectives are:

UOW Malaysia
- In January 2015, UOW Malaysia KDU University College moved to its new flagship campus at Utropolis Glenmarie, with its state-of-the-art facilities and a contemporary teaching and learning environment.
- UOW Malaysia KDU University College offers a wide range of programs at Certificate, Foundation, Diploma, Degree and Postgraduate levels and has introduced home-grown degree programs that are at the forefront of growing industries, reflecting its promise of being a real-world university meeting real-world need.
- These include Business, Communications, Creative Arts, Computing, Game Development, Hospitality, Tourism, Culinary Arts, as well as Engineering.
- In November 2018, KDU entered into a strategic partnership with UOW Global Enterprises, a wholly owned subsidiary of University of Wollongong Australia. Subsequently, in November 2019, the name of the college and university colleges were changed to reflect the stewardship of the University of Wollongong and they are now known as UOW Malaysia.
